I liked how I could walk out of my room to the parking lot, I could see my vehicle all night and felt comfortable. The rooms were nice and best of all no pet fee!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pool and hot tub were clean and warm as well as having a great gym, free weights, Lilly machine and some treadmills. I would recommend this location, plus there a bomb food truck in the parking lot.
Friendly staff, great room with a great view, no trouble with other patrons. Breakfast was yummy, they're located right next to food places and bus stops. One of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time.
Excellent hotel. The front desk staff, (Malcolm D) was professional and informative, friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean & comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The views are amazing!! Super close to amenities & to outdoor activities, such as mountain trails. There is a complimentary grab 'n go breakfast. To top it off, there is an awesome hot tub and pool:)
This was the absolute worst hotel experience of my life. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. This hotel was marketed as a 4 star hotel on booking.com and is a well known chain hotel; the marketing photos looked nice and the rooms appeared to be clean. What I walked into was what one can only describe as a nightmare. After walking by a wing of what appeared to be individuals living at the hotel, I checked into my room, which was directly located above this wing. It is worth noting that there are only two floors at this hotel and there is access to the rooms from the outside patio on the first floor and no security. I walked into a room that had blood-stained sheets -- I walked back to the lobby where I complained about the sheets and asked to be moved. The person working that night said she could move me to a suite, but it would be on the first floor. At this point, it was late in the night and I obliged, even though I did not feel safe on the first floor, knowing there was no security at this hotel. I walked into my new room and found blood-stained sheets (again) and long black hairs all over the sheets. I called the front desk to complain and was told she could drop off some fresh sheets and I could change the sheets myself. I asked to speak to a manager and she said the manager would be in at 9 AM. I decided to try to sleep through the night, but the men staying in the rooms above me were partying and smoking until 3 AM and constantly slamming their doors. The walls are paper thin at this hotel and you can hear every word and every door that is slammed. After not sleeping at all throughout the night, I walked to the front desk to speak to the manager (there were two managers working that morning). As I complained about my first night, I was asked to prove to the male manager about the blood-stained sheets by walking him to my room with Maria, the manager of the housekeeping team. After showing him and Maria all of the blood-stained sheets and photos that I took and explaining how loud it was all night in what is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, the male manager rudely told me "you can check out if you're not happy." I responded, "will you be refunding me in full?" He chuckled, "oh no, we cannot do that." I was puzzled by his rude response. We proceeded to walk back to the lobby and walked by several guests in the halls of the hotel who were not wearing masks. The other manager (Karen) had already refunded me in full for my stay. While I was grateful she had taken the initiative to do this, this was certainly not the experience I had ever hoped for. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and especially do not recommend it to solo female travelers.
Good amenities and a reasonable price (with a bit of negotiation). Only complaint is that the beds are too soft and the pillows too thick, so it's hard to get good back alignment when sleeping
