We loved our stay at Boulder Marriott Hotel & Spa. The hotel is modern and clean. It's in a good location nearby many restaurants, and only a short drive from Chautauqua Park. We had a room with a massive balcony that overlook the city and the mountains. The fireplaces outside create a cozy atmosphere. A great spot to enjoy a night cap. Both the swimming pool and the fitness center were open, but we were out and about and didn't have time to use these amenities. The bed was very comfortable and you can watch Showtime for free during your stay.
Used one of my Platinum level upgrade to suite. Discovered in morning in light of day that my clothing was covered in white pet hair due to pet hair covering L-shaped sofa and matted all over 2 area rugs. NO-PET PROPERTY. Also crumbles of pet food on carpet. We're supposed to be confident in housekeeping & anti-Covid measures when they don't vacuum? Additionally, reported to front desk that individual housekeeper was observed over the course of a day in 3 different rooms, no mask on, observed between morning hours and was still working after 5pm. Was told by manager I would be compensated for the pet hair situation. Didn't happen, now am supposed to email the manager. Next stop, hi! Corporate! Additionally, not quite in their control, had to report a domestic disturbance in room next to my suite. Hotel called police, 3 police officers on property, searching for family on property. Result? -- the hotel forbid the male/man on the property, allowed the rest of the family to stay. And this is the "fancy" Marriott property in Boulder. So bad that I've left my first ever online review.
We are extremely disappointed by the uninformed daily wifi charge ( per tablet per day at $4.95)! It was not informed at check-in and not told stipulated when we clicked " connect" ....No password was needed too! Extremely sneeky and unexpected for Marriott group... We had to pay $100 in total for 4 of us for the 3 days stay! Breakfast ( Grab and Go bag) content was the same daily.... A little unthoughtful and a little more effort will be so great.
I travel allot and I tend to stay at Marriott, this is a great example of Marriott. Clean friendly and comfortable. The only draw back to this would be the parking. It's an underground parking garage and there is a fee to park in it. No close by parking that is free or without time limits. Otherwise it's been comfortable. Oh and + side to all that; free fresh StarBuck's coffee in the mornings. It would be 5 star if not for parking situation.
