Boulder is a town with a lot of great places to eat, but Bramble and Hair stands out from the rest and rises above. Once the more relaxed kid brother of the amazing Black Cat next door, it now stands alone as an amazing dining experience on its own. Every experience we've ever had here has been a memorable one and leaves us longing for more. Incredible food, always great staff, and amazing drinks as well. Do yourself a favor and check this place out
We got reservations here for my wife's birthday. Part of our group showed up 30 minutes early thinking we would get drinks at the bar, but there really isn't much of a bar. Our server, Michael, took us to our table immediately and we had drinks there. Michael was wonderful. He explained everything, made jokes and was extremely helpful and prompt. Once the whole party was there, we started a delicious meal and enjoy everything he brought us. He was able to make changes and modifications and went out of his way to make sure our gluten free dairy free diner was taken care of and even made her a special desert. Then, when my wife was ready to leave (she struggles with long dinners), he boxed up everything and got us out of there. Wonderful experience - thank you Michael and Bramble & Hare. We will return!
WOW. Short menu. Very farm to table. Excellent treatment of all the vegetables they have. Dishes are a little bit and miss but what works works great! And that is most things. Small and no outdoors which is ok. Excellent cocktails.
Certainly the best $60-meal I've had, maybe ever. Solid hearty portions, no foo-foo plated sculptures. I've paid double for half the quality of B&H, which now saddens me, but my meal tonight still more than makes up for it.
Bramble and hare, Let's play truth or dare. I dare you to try the soup Tomato, tomato, fill your mouth, full throttle, Prepare for your world to be be rocked You think it'd be for the basil, the combinations of flavor, but prepare your mind for change Dusty old croutons, typically made with bread left behind. These are made with bread that sacred. I tried to order some, and they said not this time. More reserved than my table, These precious little bites, They sent my soul past ratatouille, I believe I met the flavor gods. One sip after another, Never have I ever been so sad To watch the bowl grow empty, Croutons, not the soup(Although spectacular) have made me dream about coming back. Now it's time for entres, Yes. I still sit in my seat. Napkin settled in my lap, Quite happy with bites to come before My path meanders back.
