Fantastic food. Small plates bursting of flavors. Mussels in tomato sauce were super tasty. Cod friters with delicious crunch. Scrumptious salad. Tiramisu and crème brûlé to die for.

Decided to try Dagabi Cucina for a date night since it had been on our list for a while. The atmosphere was nice and our server was really friendly. We ordered the Spanish tortilla which was tasty, a happy hour pizza, and veg paella. A little on the pricey side for the portion sizes but nothing outrageous for Boulder. I was surprised that the paella didn't come out in the pan it was cooked in...taste-wise, it was okay, but it was not like any paella I've ever had in Spain. My boyfriend's pizza came out 10-15 min before my food which I thought was odd. He said the pizza was good although it was cold/soggy by the time my food came out. Our server did apologize for the wait. For the price/value, I'd come back specifically for happy hour tapas and pizza if I'm in the area but not sure if I'd come back just for dinner.

Dagabi is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant and I love that it is family-owned and operated. The ambiance outside on the patio is amazing and I love the setting - feels very European! We love the mushrooms and feta and the the sautéed greens. So tasty! The wood-fired pizzas and the fried calamari are also faves. Service is always friendly and I love the community feeling. A gem!

This is a North Boulder standby. It has a mellow, neighborhood vibe. The food is quite good although individual dishes come out in random order over a period of several minutes. That may just be the nature of a tapas restaurant. If the weather is good, I suggest asking for a table on the patio.

Sorry but this is not Spanish food (that’s where I’m from), nor it was good. We ordered some of the basic Spanish foods like tortilla and croquetas, and it was really bad - not flavorful, wrong texture. How hard is it to cook a 2-ingredient dish like tortilla? I’d love to have an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant in North Boulder! Edit after owner's response: thank you for the detailed response! We were there mid week in the evening - there were only 3 tables being served. Our server was efficient in taking orders and serving the food, but never asked us how the food was (even after I had mentioned I am from Spain), and we didn't see anyone else that looked like the owner or the chef. Point taken on bringing this up in person - we'll do that next time :). And always happy to give this a second chance - as I said, nothing would make me happier than having a great tapas restaurant in our neighborhood.
