Visits and take out are usually quite good at Dagabi. Last night, however, was less than pleasing. Ordered the dates and got 3! Not 4 or 5 or 6, but 3 dates for $11. I immediately called the restaurant after opening my order and they said that is the normal order considering the cost of the dates and cheese and other ingredients. What?!?! I've shared this dish with others in the past and this was definitely a shareable plate, unlike last night. I also noticed fewer choices on the menu. Disappointing to say the least.
Excellent tapas and quality of food. The server was friendly and attentive. I would recommend for a nice evening with friends. However, they would benefit from trying to accommodate their guests with more vegan options, plant based milks for coffee and a better quality coffee. Overall, a great restaurant and it lives up to its reputation.
First time here- came in for HH Tuesday. Food was amazing- calamari, mussels, chicken croquettes, bread... All fantastic. Service was so disappointing. Bartender was eating a full bowl of pasta behind the bar in front of us... gross. Gave recommendations when we asked but had absolutely no time for us otherwise. If you go, try to sit on the patio and don't be in a hurry...
Had our rehearsal dinner out on the patio a few weeks ago. It was wonderful! Service was quick and friendly, food was wonderful, and drinks were great. We couldn't have asked for a better experience to kick off the wedding weekend. Thank you, Noah and team DaGabi!
Someone in their earlier review mentioned the potential this place has and it does; however, the service was pretty slow (the waitress was nice though), oddly enough we saw a waiter with a toothpick in his mouth which registered a bit unsanitary to me. The overall ambiance I felt was just confusion. Workers confused about our seating and then confusion about orders.
