I've been here twice within the last couple of months, based on a recommendation from a fellow skier who shared a ski lift with me and my friend at Eldora. Wow the food was so so good! I wasn't a big fan of Pad Thai until I stepped inside this restaurant the first time... Their Pad Thai was phenomenal - the noodle had amazing texture and the dish was so flavorful! (Caution: medium level of heat was noticeably hot so go for mild when in doubt.. ). Pineapple fried rice was so yummy... And their green Thai ice tea was very tasty. No, it's not your fancy Thai restaurants with exotic decorations. But this place is clean and fast, and serves fantastic food. The staff behind the counter was friendly. I can't wait to go back soon!

@folsomthaiatboulder does have a slightly unusual feel/vibe. It’s like you’re in a basement. To be fair you are—but there are windows and it’s brightly lit and it’s welcoming. I think it has a near to campus—for college student feel.
The food was outstanding though. Crab cheese wontons were really good and a big order. Also had chicken pad Thai which was among the best I’ve had in Colorado.

Visited May 2023. Had spring rolls- excellent, and green curry - good.
One person behind the counter was super nice and helpful, one was not so much. Pretty casual. Clean but pretty basic. Most people were picking up to-go orders. If dining in you order at the counter and they bring it to you.

very good food. if you’re not good with spice, don’t go past level 1 or 2 because they don’t play when it comes to spice.
i ordered the pad thai and it was delicious, my only criticisms is that for $14+ there should be a bit more food, the portion is on the smaller side. also the tofu doesn’t really soak up the sauce very well so if you pick out a single piece of tofu it’s not gonna taste like anything. that’s not a problem with any of the other proteins though, i also got some chicken in it and it soaked up the sauce and was very flavorful!

The family that owns Folsom Thai have been owners of Thai Restaurants for as long as I have been in the surrounding Boulder area - they are as good as it gets, they are consistent, and I am proud to have called myself a customer of theirs for 10 years at this point. Eat at this restaurant, you will not regret it.
