We periodically work remotely while visiting my husband's daughter in Boulder. This is our go to place to stay. I've even been able to testify remotely on Zoom for work while sitting in the breakfast area in the lobby without any problems. Reagan, Larry, Amy, and Jerrett were all beyond helpful when we were using the workout room, with our dog Charlie, and when the electricity went out for the whole block during the work day. Each member of the staff is always welcoming and helpful for whatever we have needed. From the hotel we are able to walk to many restaurants and shopping places and hop on the walking trails. The Hyatt on Pearl Street is the only place we will stay and the staff is what makes it the most pleasurable.
Very very clean and comfortable. Spacious rooms were quiet with zero outside noise. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Good location with a Restaurant/Bar very near by. The whole area is very clean and safe. We would stay here again
My rating of this hotel has sadly declined from a 5 to a 2 due to two consecutive unfortunate experiences. The most recent negative experience was the final nail in the coffin for us and have shared my experience below: My wife and I booked a one night stay at the Hyatt Place Boulder/Pearl St Hotel on May 1st via hotels.com for 5/30 - 5/31. We paid for a Premium 1 Bedroom Suite for the amount of $291.33. Upon arrival on 5/30, the concierge informed us our room was not ready yet to due a shortage in housekeepers. After waiting 1 hour past check-in time in the lobby, we were informed that they had no Premium King Suites left and that hotels.com inventory did not accurately reflect the Hyatt’s inventory. The concierge apologized and offered us a standard room and promised us a $89/night rate for this inconvenience. He asked us to stop by at check-out to confirm on the morning go 5/31. When checking out on 5/31 to confirm, he was not there. Instead, the manager was there and she said that my wife and I were wrong and that the previous concierge person did not share this adjusted price and was not what she heard. She implied it was our fault in using a third-party website rather than booking through Hyatt directly. We ended up being billed $137.92 rather than the promised $89. This was a very stressful and disappointing. We were made to feel very uncomfortable to imply this incorrect inventory booking issue was our fault, and ultimately having a compromised room for a rate higher than promised and much smaller than what we had planned, book and paid for a month in advance. We had food/drink items we had to throw in the trash because this compromised room did not have a kitchen and we had to scramble at the last minute to figure out dinner and breakfast. We won’t be returning.
Cool ambience, good location on Pearl Pkwy (not street) and modern decor in lobby and room which I like (see photos). There's a restaurant close by but I don't know if it's affiliated. Covered parking seems like a nice perk for those cold Boulder days. Cordial staff too.
Good hotel. But we got the short straw since we reached around midnight for the check-in. Didn't get the room we requested and the fridge wasn't working in the one we got. The management was helpful though and tried to do the best they can.
