The good stuff: The hotel was clean with a friendly atmosphere. We checked in at night, so it wasn't very busy and the staff was very helpful answering my questions. Breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks to choose from and was well stocked. There is a huge parking garage with free parking for hotel guests, so that was wonderful. The not so great: we reserved a single king bed room but upon check in were informed they only had rooms with double queen beds remaining unless we wanted to wait an hour, so we were assigned one of them. When we got to our room, we noticed the shampoo and soap hadn't been restocked, so we tried calling down to the front desk but our phone didn't work. I ended up just walking back down and asking for the things we needed. The pool area was not stocked with towels so we had to again ask the front desk for some. For the price, we got a nice place to stay for the night and friendly staff, but this hotel could benefit from being properly stocked in the rooms and pool area.

I arrived and went straight to bed. When I woke up the next morning and went to enjoy the complimentary breakfast, I was grilled by the desk staff as to whether or not I should be there. I'm assuming this was due to my appearance, which wasn't the best. Since my friend booked the room however, I had none of the booking info on hand. In fact, he had told me he would be following me down to breakfast within a few minutes after I went down. Anyway, I spent that time waiting by the front desk for my friend instead of enjoying my breakfast as I should have been. I felt they were rather heavy-handed in their verification approach and I felt like a sub-standard citizen because of it. After all this rigamarole had been handled, the rest of my the days there was without incident. I had a habit off leaving late and coming back late so it was nice that the staff seemed to remember that I was supposed to be there after that initial experience. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for two. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

This hotel is very nice, has a modern city vibe, and shows no signs of excessive wear like other reviewers said. It honestly looks newer and more updated than any hotel I've ever stayed in this price range in my life. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly, and there's free parking across the street if you want to opt out of the garage fee. There's even a shuffleboard table in the lobby. Bonus!

I have stayed at this property many, many times. During my last stay, I got locked out of my room because the electronic lock was not working. I informed the front desk I had a flight to catch and they sent maintenance up to fix the issue. Shawn (maintenance) did his best to get the lock opened as fast as possible (thank you, Shawn!), but given the circumstances, it took him approx 1 hour to get me back into my room. When I checked out, I told the front desk that I may miss my flight because of the 1 hr delay. I did not get an apology and I did end up missing my flight. I am very disappointed at the lack of care, urgency, and concern by the staff at this hotel.

This Hyatt is a BIG disappointment. I've actually stayed in hostels which have better customer service and atmosphere. I arrived at 5pm on a weekend - No Service or help with luggage. I left at 12pm (noon) on a Tuesday - No Service or help with luggage available. Not one person in the lobby with the exception of the front desk person. (Its not like the hotel isn't busy). I also requested my room be cleaned on the 2nd day. No one came to clean it, even after I stopped a cleaning lady in the hallway. The most outstanding person (in terms of attitude and service) was Martin who is the hotels maintenance person. He walked 5 minutes to help me dig out my car when there was a snowstorm. The one time I changed my room in 3 days, he was the only person available to help me with my bags. There is also no parking around here. So you're trapped paying $25 a night for a parking garage or under STRESS with the street parking. The bed was probably the worst hotel bed I've slept in. Pillows and linen were not properly made up and very bad quality. I tried two rooms and the amenities were not consistent. This hotel is really lacking quality and not worth the stars. The only pro: the other guests were really sweet and well behaved.
