Three of us popped in for dinner on an extremely busy Friday night. Normally, we don’t care to be crammed into small spaces like sardines, but the cozy ambiance of this place made it bearable enough. In this case, we were willing to forgo perfect comfort if the homemade pasta was really as good as everyone claimed. Simply put, we were not disappointed. Everything we ate was delicious. From the simple bread to the antipasti platter to the burrata appetizer to the lasagna, squid ink pasta, and cioppino dishes, we couldn’t find anything to complain about as far as taste and presentation go and believe me, we tried. If we HAD to make a critical comment, I’d say the antipasti platter is a little small for the price, but we just won’t order that next time and will instead stick to the pasta dishes. All in all, we all agreed this was one of our best recent meals in Boulder. We are going back for their lunch special this week.

Eggplant Parmesan was so oily and way too much sauce…. definitely not worth it. They also charged me $26 instead of the 22 shown on their menu. Pesto ravioli was also extremely oily… be prepared to be disappointed in the flavor since it’s all SMOTHERED in oil. They also messed up my takeout order and didn’t add Asparagus into the Pesto cream ravioli. Overall 2/10 experience after paying $100+ for literally 4 pasta dishes.. would not recommend for now… unless you want overpriced pasta and a plate of greasy sadness.

The staff and environment here is so charming and we have yet to order a dish that is anything less than incredible. We love coming here and it never fails to put a smile on our face (and induce a happy full of carbs snooze).

Every review is a reference of your experience elsewhere. No-doubt this is the best I have had in Denver metro so far. They know how to run a restaurant and have exceptional marketing tactics. The FOMO of not being able to eat on weekends and limited seating, along with superb taste gives them an edge. Not to forget the daily draw of wine (you put your name and number/email, and they’ll have a draw from a fish bowl).

I cannot stress-enough how wonderful and fantastic the food and service is, here. The pasta is so fresh, I feel like I'm in Italy! Don't dismiss the house wines. They're also surprisingly fabulous 👌 .
Unfortunately, more people are discovering this, so make sure you make a reservation!
