We’ve been to Modern Market a number of times and always love it. Everything we’ve had has been fresh and flavorful.
We came this time for a fundraiser night for my daughter’s gymnastics team. We ordered the Thai Coconut salad and Lemongrass Tuna bowl - both were delicious.
I also had wine, which was terrible. For $3 a glass you shouldn’t expect much, but this tasted very watered down. I’ve had it before and it’s never been this bad.
We also ordered the cranberry oat cookie, paid for it, and were then told they were out of them. My only option was to choose another kind. So I ended up buying a cookie I didn’t want. At least some of that money went to support the gymnastics team.

The cauliflower rice is amazing, as were the roasted vegetables. But the steak couldn’t even be chewed, just tough and inedible.

I only gave a one star because there was no lower option. My family ordered three salads. Tuna was not seared but raw and over salted. Salmon was over cooked and hard. In edible. Dressing was too sweet on all salads and potatoes were dried out and cold. Just a horrible meal. We left barely eating any of our entrees. We will never go again

Wow, this Modern Market has really, really gone downhill post-pandemic. We've been in many times, for in-person dining, and experience has been worse than the last. The tables are messy even though there's no one there. The staff are tired and overworked (through no fault of their own). The quality of the food has just tanked. The gluten free pizza used to be one of my favorites in the world. Now, it's wet, spongy, and tastes of cardboard. This used to be our favorite spot, but I feel like they've really stopped trying to cater to the in-person dining experience. I'm so sad to lose a resturant that we really loved.

Salad was supposed to have balsamic glaze on the brussel sprouts and scallion ranch dressing on the side. Neither of these were done. Instead the salad was absolutely drenched in some kind of oil (assume olive). Chicken was also dry and tough. Salad was inedible and had to be thrown away. Also ordered 2 basil chicken sandwiches which were very mid and not up to the standards we’ve come to like about Mod Market in the past. Will not be eating here again.
