I love Quiznos. However, this place, in Boulder, didn't have any of the specials listed on the website. They didn't have ability to do wraps except with small corn tortilla. They only had 3 cheeses to select from. I assume the servers were the owners. They were nice but I wished he had made suggestions for alternative to the lobster specials as listed on the website. I gave this store three stars because they didn't have very many "normal" items to choose from and I thought the price for a small sandwich and small soup was high (then again, it's Boulder) for average taste.

I prefer Quiznos over Subway, and the food here did not disappoint. But friendliness is not their strength here. Not exactly unfriendly. Been here a few times, served by the same person every time. He seems very terse and I got the feeling that somehow I was slightly to slow or imprecise during the order somehow?

Owner is greedy, would not give me the lunch special price when I wanted to substitute a cookie for the potato chips (both are identical in price at $2). Nope instead he insisted on charging me the highest price he could, stating it was a franchise and is “corporate policy”. I told him it was not a big deal, it’s only a couple of dollars difference and that his explanation was flat out BS.

When it was my turn to place an order, I didn't not specify the size, assuming it would be regular. I was not asked which size sub I wanted but was given a large. While my sandwich was being heated, I went to pay for a friend and myself.
The manager at the cashier asked my friend if he wanted a drink (which he did) or chips (which I did). He could have charged for a combo, but didn't. When my sandwich was ready, he realized it was a large and because he charged me for a regular, he took a knife and cut off the end of the sandwich to make it a regular size.
On top of that he forgot to ring in the drink.
It's not that I really missed the end of the sandwich, but it's the principle. It was their mistake. Can you imagine a manager coming out to your table and taking a slice of pizza from you because they made the mistake of giving something larger than you ordered?
Lame.
