I got The Birria taco's and they Was fully loaded with meat! Very tasty and The conseme. They have a self serve salsa bar and drink station. All The sauces we're very good. The owner Was super nice and really cared. He took orders, bussed table's and greeted everyone. Great service and food I'll definitely be back!

This was the first time and definitely the last four sure. One of the worse experiences I've had while dining at a restaurant. Food was very bland and definitely reheated and dry. Took my family there for dinner on Taco Tuesday, we got there a few minutes after 7:00 when it had ended and the people at the front register were nice enough to let us still get the Taco Tuesday deal I've got no complaints on that that was actually nice of them. When our food came out it looked ok honestly mediocre for the amount of $$ spent. They advertise a red chili sauce, a green chili sauce and a mole sauce for their enchiladas. With that being said red chilli tasted like mole and we asked for the green sauce instead since apparently at Sancho's mole and red chilli sauce is the same bland thing, the thing that made our experience bad was that what I think was one of the cooks or "the manager" of establishment came out to rant at my wife about how he doesn't have time to be telling everybody how he makes his sauces and how he put chocolate on the sauce etc. I mean obviously he had no sense of hospitality at all to come out and raise his voice at PAYING costumers. It was pathetic and it's sad that so many people love this place that is honestly not even half as good as it was a few years ago when they were in Boulder and obviously under BETTER management.

Great food. Authentic. Fast! Not the least expensive, but hey, it's Gunbarrel, they have to pay the rent somehow. Love the burrito bowl for a carb-friendly lunch.

I couldn’t be happier that Sancho’s opened up a new location in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder. They make very flavorful and traditional Mexican food, and easily have the tastiest and best variety for a Taco Tuesday in all of Boulder. Sancho’s also serves a few beers on draft along with a house margarita if you are looking to wash down their food with an adult beverage. I personally am a big fan of their California burrito. It’s hearty and is packed with perfectly seasoned shredded beef along with some french fries which add a great starchy crunch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for really delicious and well priced Mexican food.

If I could give 20 stars, I would! I am crazy about the authenticity of Sancho’s. The street style tacos are so delicious and the tortillas and chips are freshly made. The tamales are so good, too! I love coming on a Friday evening to grab a margarita and queso while the live music is playing. I take my out-of-towners here all the time and they love it.
