My deep tissue massage with Andy was out of this world! Exactly what I needed, great communication throughout... just felt like I was in good hands. Michelle who did my first EVER facial was spectacular! Again, excellent communication and really felt like she enjoyed what she does. Highly recommend a good day of treatments at the St. Julien.
Pretty nice hotel. Very near pearl street. One thing to note about balcony rooms facing the Flatirons... These rooms are directly next to a 4 lane road (119). They don't show you this in the pictures of the hotel. Also the balconies are all open and right next to the neighboring rooms. Great view but expect road noise and no privacy on balconies. Room interior: 4 slightly dated Staff: 5 (friendly and attentive) Cleaning Staff: 5
I recently stayed at the St Julien in July 2021 and it was amazing! The location of the St Julien simply CANNOT be beat. You have direct access to Pearl Street with its many shops, restaurants, live entertainment and more. The staff at St Julien are incredibly accommodating and provide 5 star service to their guests, even with limited staffing due to industry shortages these days. I would gladly stay here time and time again and recommend it to friends and family!
I have not even left my stay and I am so blown away by this place. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed with more thoughtful amenities than I have ever seen in any luxury hotel. Every detail has been thought of.... I want to take a pictures of the nicest tooth brush I have ever received from a front desk. The slippers are not flat but so thick. There is make- up remover with dark wash cloth, bubble bath, chocolates, robes, shower caps, etc. and I could go on and one with all the touches. The staff and the decor are amazing. Even more amazing, is this is all present during Covid especially during a time when it feels so good to be nurtured. Thank you to all for caring so much for your guests!
It’s really a very lovely hotel. I had never been to Boulder before and we were a little confused because the photographs make it seem like it is more of a traditional resort, with its own grounds and a bit away from the action… but, it is right smack in the middle of downtown Boulder! Ultimately, I think this is a good thing and because downtown Boulder is so vibrant, it was almost like being in the heart of a big city! Amazing restaurants, shops, and incredibly easy access to the free shuttle to take you to Chautauqua Park—it’s literally right out front! I think I would give it five stars if that was what I was looking for for this trip, but I really thought it was a bit more of a conventional resort—there is no outdoor pool (though the indoor pool is very nice), and there aren’t really any “grounds” to speak of. The spa was completely booked so we weren’t able to try it—another bummer. It would’ve been so nice if when we made the reservation a few months ago they prompted us to book things in advance… Of course, each hotel and resort is different, but typically when you are a guest you get some kind of preference. The restaurant in the hotel is nice, though the service was not great. Fortunately, there are so many options nearby that you really don’t have to eat there. Everything was pretty expensive, but that is to be expected these days. Finally, I sort of regretted that we rented a car. I think that it would be better to find a way around this. Renting a car was crazy expensive, and it’s pretty expensive to park daily at the hotel as well… All in all, a limousine to and from the airport would’ve been much nicer probably significantly cheaper! Between the free shuttle to the hikes, and all of the wonderful options for eating, drinking, and shopping within just a few blocks of the hotel, I really think a car was unnecessary.
