Are you guys aware of cannibal the musical? And is the owner still the man who played the Indian man in the movie, absolutely hilarious! And I love boulder, have not been since my soccer traveling days! Whenever I come back down, I will be sure to stop and enjoy your restaurant.
We were seated quickly and food and service were excellent. However we were trying to order one more roll and made the mistake of asking the hostess as she passed by for assistance when she snapped at us and told us that she's not our waitress. She then rushed off back to her post to stack menus as our waitress continued to serve multiple tables. I understand that things can be frustrating and that she had her own duties to do, but that's no way to treat a customer who had already hit a $100 bill and wanted to order more. There are much better, more professional ways to handle this situation. After that sour experience we just paid our bill, left a tip and left. Didn't want to spend another cent. Sure this seems like a small thing, but it did ruin what was otherwise an awesome time. I love sushi and have been in sushi places across the country, and we've never been treated that way before, especially not by the restaurant's hostess. The hostess is the first and last person you see when you're in the restaurant, so their impact to the experience is huge. I hope she treats others with more respect than she treated us.
Amazing sushi, fantastic service. Very fair prices for what you get. It’s our favorite restaurant in town. So glad they’re reopened!! They handle the indoor dining very well during Covid. Well spaced, very clean, excellent reservation system.
This was my first dinner in a restaurant since COVID. Everything went great and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back!
Had a great experience in this spot with my kids. The food comes fast and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.
