Everything comes together in earnest here. Founded on a sensible collab of upscale cuisine and casual atmosphere, the experience is arranged to have that perfect balance of affordability and delectability. They hit the sweet spot. We will be back!

Came here on a quiet, rainy night. Our GPS took us to a hidden away parking lot instead of the actual restaurant--should have just looked at the name, 4580 (Broadway), no way we would have missed it.
Had a few surprises and a let down.
Mussels (4+): A nice departure from the usual heavier wine and tomato broths flavored with sausage; the broth was on the lighter and sweeter side, complementing the mussels well. Would have liked to see the dish come with grilled bread so that the sauce does not go to waste!
Quinoa fritters (4+): Surprisingly good dish, very well-seasoned and moist. If I was to be critical, I would say that the ball had a tendency to crumble and I would have liked it to stay together just a little bit better, perhaps a bit more like falafel.
Jumbo shrimp wrapped in prosciutto (4+): More like prosciutto-topped than wrapped. Spices suggested some cajun influences. Proportion of quinoa to the shrimp seemed a little bit off, but can't really complain for having more food, right?
Vegetable risotto (5): Well composed and executed, delicious. Great roasted garlic flavor.
Braised short rib (3-): This had all the components of a great dish, and the protein was treated well. However, the sauce seemed a bit one-note, and seemed like it was missing something. Moreover, the centerpiece of the dish--the short rib--was quite under-seasoned. One of the rare occasions that I needed to reach for the salt shaker on the table.

Excellent happy hour. The salad is consistently perfect (pic) and the burgers are the best in town. Nice selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. Great for a casual meal, but dressy enough for a date. Rare to see college kids here. Staff are friendly, bartenders attentive.
