As I think about our Mother's Day brunch experience today: The staff was dour and detached (every person we encountered, to one degree or another). The food took way too long to arrive (in a half full restaurant). The salmon benedict entree, which two of us had, was pretty much a plate of slop. We had stopped eating for at least 15 minutes before plates were removed from table. I think this is a new restaurant, but it felt worn out, and thus will not be returning.
McKENNA was a superb server for our party of four. She was kind, attentive and professional, and gave us excellent suggestions for our dinners and wines. Thank you all, especially McKenna, she's a treasure who represents North End at 4580 very well.
I took my wife here for date night and I do not regret it! By far, some of the prettiest and delectable dishes we have ever experienced! The food was absolutely worth every penny. The new chef came out to say hello to the table and thanked us for coming in. Such a wonderful place to take someone special. We will absolutely be going back!
Our experience at 4580 was phenomenal. The new chef Tiff is incredibly talented with an amazing palate. Boulder has always been a worthy contender for restaurants. 4580 hit a home run! Lobster mac and cheese, calamari, NY strip, scallops, banana bread pudding and flourless chocolate torte were OFF THE CHAIN! My husband and I will be back to try the rest of the menu.
The low light and fast service had me upon entry. This is the exact kind of place you'd imagine if "modern Colorado bistro" was in mind. The drink, a French 75 was tasteful, same as the ambiance. The braised short ribs could be a on a TV show. Would eat again, would recommend.
