Pretty good beer. Nothing too "out there" in relation to other Denver/Boulder area craft breweries. They stick with the classics. The fried chicken, however, is excellent (coming from a southerner). The family sized specials are great, and combined with some good beer and tasty sides, it makes for a great meal for a family or group of friends. Well recommended, wish they stayed open an hour later
Booked an outdoor table, everything was perfect. Heater took the chill from the air. Staff were very attentive also offering good advice. Beer selection is excellent. We enjoyed the fried chicken, but certainly not the best we have had. Overall, great place. I highly recommended this place.
Amazing service. Perhaps the best in Boulder. The manager is incredibly friendly and if you told him your table was wobbly, he’d carve you a new one on the spot. The food is also fantastic; I’m a Georgia boy and the food is as southern as it comes (although the collards NEED to come with the chicken and waffles. You need all three together.)
We were disappointed! We reserved a table for 8:30pm because it was recommended on a Friday night. We waited over 5 minutes for the waitress to come to our table, but she was fairly attentive after that. He ordered the Moscow mule, which was great and I ordered the Manhattan, also great. We tried the thigh wings for an appetizer, and they were not great -overdone, and it seemed like the oil was old. It was served with a spiced (curry spiced?) ketchup that I didn’t like as much as the mustard that they served with it. I got the “SweatPants” salad, it also had the chicken thighs on the salad, but they weren’t as overdone. He ordered the half chicken - the side of gravy was cold, and the fried chicken was again a little overdone and seemed like the oil was old. We won’t come here again.
I definitely wouldn’t eat here again. I came here and wanted to order a salad. When I asked the waiter for the dressing and seeds on the side apparently that couldn’t be done because the salad was already made. To be honest that was alarming to me... how long has this salad been sitting pre-mixed? Sounds soggy to me. Plus not to mention if someone has a nut allergy you’d think you would be able to request to not have nuts on a salad. I ended up changing my order to a brunch item and that was equally disappointing. There are many other spectacular restaurants in the Boulder area that I recommend you spend your money at. This is not one of them.
